What you get

Exterior Detail done at your house.

This is the wash you wish your car got every two weeks. We pull up to your house, do a two-bucket hand wash, pull the road grime and brake dust off the paint, scrub the wheels and tires, and lay down a layer of carnauba wax that beads water for a couple months. Good fit for anyone who just wants the outside to look right without booking a half-day at a shop in Overland Park.

FAQ

Exterior Detail questions, answered.

How often should I get an exterior detail?

If you park outside, every 6-8 weeks keeps the paint protected and the wheels from caking up. Garage-kept cars in Prairie Village can stretch to every 10-12 weeks without much loss.

Will the wax fix scratches or swirl marks?

No — wax fills nothing and hides nothing. If you've got swirls or light scratches, you want paint correction, which is part of our ceramic coating package. Wax just protects and adds gloss.

Do you clean the wheel barrels?

Yes — we pull the wheel cleaner deep into the barrels and scrub the face, lug nuts, and tire sidewall. Brake dust on a daily-driven car in the KC metro builds up fast.

Can you do an exterior in winter?

Yes, as long as it's above about 35°F and not actively snowing. Winter washes are actually important here — road salt eats clear coat and aluminum trim if it sits for weeks.

How long does the wax last?

Carnauba wax holds up about 8-12 weeks depending on weather and how often you wash. The sealant upgrade ($29) stretches that to roughly 6 months.
